ACCEPTANCE

March 26, 2024

If that is the way it should have been, then that is the way it would have been. We can’t bring the past back but we can make an effort to improve the future. True, sometimes things don’t turn out our way. What does a Jew who really trusts in Hashem say at that time? “גם זו לטובה”. “Whatever happened was for the good”. More important to focus on the future, the direction in which we are headed, then to harbor upon the past, which we can’t bring back. We must however learn from the past, not to repeat the same mistakes in the future.

Always forward with positive anticipation and trust in Hashem. Hashem is in charge. When we reach out to Him truthfully, He is accepting.
Not with demands, not with complaints, just humbly.

We must always be mindful of the fact that it is Hashem’s will to do good by us.    “מרצון הטוב להיטב”    It is the will of Hashem, the essence of all good, to do good with His creations.

We only need to make ourselves worthy, of the abundance of good, Hashem has in store for us. Let us better earn it and deserve it. What is most interesting is that Hashem continuously showers us with good even before we earn it or deserve it. How fortunate we are to belong to the Holy Jewish Nation.
