Sitting low on תשעה באב,
pondering Jewish DESTINY.
How much we have suffered,
tortured throughout HISTORY.
Mourning the גלות השכינה,
how painful for 'ה, it must BE.
Having to wait for our return,
to rebuild the בית המקדש השלישי.
The loss of our בתי מקדש,
not one, but TWO.
How we yearn for Hashem,
to rebuild it ANEW.
To be blessed by the כהנים,
To hear the לוים SINGING.
,עולי רגל being בני ישראל
their קרבנות BRINGING.
Living in ecstasy,
surrounded by the שכינה.
Serving Hashem בשמחה,
with אהבה and יראה.
But that will require,
some change on our PART.
Removing שינאת חינם,
is a good place to START.
Hashem wants us,
living with DIGNITY.
Respecting one another,
in harmony and UNITY.
That His children get along,
and love one ANOTHER.
Like sisters and brother's,
there for each OTHER.
Now another year has passed,
משיח has still not ARRIVED.
משיח has still not ARRIVED.
To change our future,
we must eradicate all DIVIDE.
So I mourn for Hashem’s honor,
for His people and MYSELF. Hoping that by next year,
we will have fixed OURSELF.
Will start off with me,
making changes in my LIFE. Overlooking and forgiving, avoiding all types of STRIFE.
As a nation we must watch,
how to all we SPEAK.
how to all we SPEAK.
Since a גאולה and ישועה,
is what we all SEEK.
Let's all try a little harder,
so thisl גלות can be OVER.
Then with joy and delight,
our redemption we will SAVOR.
From all corners of the earth, we will be GATHERED.
From the remotest habitations, wherever we're SCATTERED.
All coming to ארץ ישראל,
to serve Hashem with JOY.
No longer to be stopped,
by any ploy or any GOY.
אין לנו מלך אלה אתה
we will all SHOUT.
Serving Hashem with fervor,
is what it will all be ABOUT.
So impatiently we wait,
for his long awaited ARRIVAL.
To bask in the glory
of the שכינה,
to rejoice in
our final national REVIVAL.
